Peanut Butter Football Dip
It is hard to believe that the Super Bowl is only a few days away. This will be my first super bowl as a vegan, so it is important to me to prepare some yummy but vegan appetizers that I can eat and share.

I found this yummy dip from #happierthanapiginmud. I had to "veganize" but the taste was not sacrificed. I switched out the cream cheese with plant-based cream cheese. I replaced the jimmy sprinkles with dairy-free mini chocolate chips. I prefer the Enjoy Life brand.
The frosting you can make from scratch or use a store-bought vegan brand to make the football strings. I chose to use vegan white chocolate chips to make the football strings.
I would also recommend not using natural peanut butter. It makes the dip oily natural peanut butter separates.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup plant-based butter (softened)
4 oz nondairy cream cheese
1 cup peanut butter
4 Oz nondairy cream cheese
1 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
26 to 30 vegan white chocolate chips to make football string (you could use frosting too)
Serve with pretzels
Need wax paper for the dip
1) Cream butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter in a standing mixer or hand mixer until smooth. Add vanilla
2) Add powdered sugar (1/2 cup at a time) mix well between each add
3) Spoon onto wax paper and use fingers to shape as a football (if too soft, chill in the fridge for 30 minutes)
4) Move waxpaper to serving dish
5) Press mini chocolate chips to dip and use white chocolate chips or frosting to make football strings
6) Place in the fridge until ready to serve.
Serve with pretzels
Enjoy!
