I am usually skeptical when someone talks up their recipe. It usually isn’t as good as they claim. Not this time, #fitmittenkitchen was not exaggerating about her Vegan Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Scones!
It was really quick and easy to make. Minus the time you need to freeze the coconut oil.
It was flaky on the outside but soft when you bite into it. I thought it was the perfect combo. The sprinkle of raw sugar on top was an added bonus!
This yummy breakfast treat definitely passed the, “slap your mama good” test.
